Transm1t was Taboo’s solo vehicle — a project that let him speak in his own voice, outside the machinery of a global pop group. He wanted something grittier, more personal, rooted in the culture he came from.
I came in as both a creative collaborator and a producer — co-writing the record, producing the music, and building the visual language around it from the ground up.
We co-wrote and produced Transm1t, crafting a track built around Taboo’s own story — hard-hitting beats with space for vulnerability, reflecting where he was as an artist and as a person.
I produced the music video and a promo piece featuring Fergie, overseeing creative development, production logistics, and visual execution. I also directed the live show — translating the album’s energy into a performance experience.
Beyond the studio, I directed a campaign with World of Dance around the project that garnered 515K views on YouTube.
